Monty Long

Monty Long, age 64, of Albion, passed away at his residence Wednesday evening, October 20, 2021. Monty was born in Fairfield on January 28, 1957 to Dean and Ermalee (Wilson) Long.

Monty married Mitzi Glover in 1981 at Albion, Illinois. Monty worked for Huff Sealing for over 20 years.  He is survived by his wife, Mitzi, sons,  Anthony of Albion and Kenneth of Browns, 2 grandchildren, a brother Steve Long of Albion and one sister, Cindy Michel of Olney, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rick.

Funeral services for Monty Long will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion.  Burial to follow in the Samaria Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Saturday morning, 10:00 a.m. to service time.
