93-year-old Mt. Carmel resident Myrtle A. Hulfachor died at 10:10 p.m. Thursday May 17, 2012 at Oakview Heights in Mt. Carmel. She was a homemaker and member of the Royal Neighbors, Camp 1366, and Women of the Moose Chapter 1530. Myrtle was born in August 13, 1918 in Edwards County to Harry and Thirza Colyer Snidle. On August 12, 1939 Myrtle was united in marriage to Harold Hulfachor in Henderson, Kentucky. Survivors include 2 daughters Verbal Angelico and her husband Vincent of Arden, North Carolina and Jane Weber and her husband Phillip of St. Charles, Missouri; 1 grandchild Christina Angelico of Arden, North Carolina; as well as 2 nieces Holley Sherer of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Melinda Johnson of Henderson, Kentucky. Her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 1 sister preceded Myrtle in death. Services for Myrtle Hulfachor will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Nales Funeral Home in Albion with Brother Brad Garner officiating. Burial will be in Little Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be conducted at Nales Funeral Home in Albion Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to the time of the service. Memorials may be made to the Elephant Sanctuary and envelopes are available at Nales Funeral Home in Albion.
