Naomi L. Shaw

90-year-old Albion, Illinois resident Naomi L. Shaw died at 6:38 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Oak View Heights in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She worked at Johnny Manufacturing in Albion and Shaw Brothers Locker in Albion and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Albion. Naomi was born June 21, 1921 in Albion, Illinois to Charles and Madge Kenseloe Schofield. On December 12, 1936 she was united in marriage to Eugene Shaw in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Survivors include 2 sons: Charles Wayne Shaw and his wife Virginia Elaine of Mt. Carmel and Steve Shaw and his wife Janice of Albion; a sister Ruth McFarland of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; as well as 6 children and 10 great grandchildren. Her parents, husband Eugene, 3 sons, and 2 brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services for Naomi L. Shaw will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Albion, Illinois with Pastor Kirk Rowe officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery of Albion. Visitation will be conducted at Nales Funeral Home in Albion Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial may be made to the First Baptist Church Elevator Fund and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
