Obituary
77 year old Fairfield resident, Norma Jean Eckleberry passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Norma was born November 25, 1944 in Wayne County to Ernie and Helen (Hunley) Austin.
Norma married Dellos R. Eckleberry on November 14, 1992 in Wayne County. Norma worked at the Fairfield Garment Factory for several years. Later she worked at Airtex until her retirement.
Left to cherish many wonderful memories are her husband, Dellos of Fairfield, one daughter, Denetta Shelton of Wayne City, one step daughter,
Susan R. Eckleberry of Cisne, 2 grandchildren; Toyzann Cline and Vanessa Halfacre. Four great grandchildren; Addilynn, Lillyaunna, Kimberlynn & Sirius “Jayse” Cline. Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Floyd Austin.
Funeral services for Norma Jean Eckleberry will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Nale’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, 12 noon until time of service. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
