Patricia "Patty" Johnson

97 year old Fairfield, Illinois resident, Patricia “Patty” Rae Johnson passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at her residence.

Patty was born on November 5, 1926 in Wichita, Kansas to Raymond and Cleo (McKibbon) Green. Patty was married to her high school sweetheart, Bill Johnson for 71 years. They lived overseas for many years due to Bill’s work in the oil field.  They eventually retired in Fairfield.

Patty is survived by her children; Diane (Larry) Taylor of Fairfield, Teena (Ron) Wolfe of Rolling Prairie, Indiana and Andrew (Ingrid) Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri. Grandchildren; Lee, Lincoln, Jarod, Dillon Johnson & Laura Chaumont of Texas. Robin Taylor Mayes of Fairfield, Maegan Gallaher of Indiana and Daniel & Oliver Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri. 14 great- grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren as well as 3 nieces and one nephew.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Bill, son Tommy and grandson Jamie.

Funeral services to celebrate Patty’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Mt. Erie Christian Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Cisne Cemetery.
