Raymond Daniel Rahn

63 year old Dix resident, Raymond Daniel Rahn passed away Sunday March 8, 2026, in Texico, Illinois.

Raymond was born April 30, 1962, in Tuscola, Illinois to Duane and Mary (Rideout) Rahn. Raymond had worked as a steelworker for years before retiring.

Raymond married Marilyn R. Vaughan on June 29, 1982, in the small community of Hord.

 He was preceded in death by his Father, Wife and one daughter Josie Rahn.

Raymond is survived by his 2 sons; Timothy & wife Reva of Beecher City and Matthew Rahn of Chester; 2 daughters; Sasha Rahn of Dix, and Ashley Simpson of Flora. 18 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren. 1 brother; Fredrick and (Vicki) Rahn of Neoga.

 Visitation for Raymond Rahn will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday Evening March 16, 2026 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will follow at a later date.
