73-year-old Albion resident, Richard A. Bunting died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, Illinois. He had been the owner and operator of the Painter & Franklin Hardware Store and was a volunteer fireman for many years. Survivors include a nephew, David Navarro of Albion; two nieces, Patricia Churchwell of Montgomery, AL and Denise Michels of Albion. Per his request, the body will be cremated and there will be no services. Nale's Funeral Home of Albion, Illinois is in charge of all the arrangements.
