Rickie Long

67 year old Albion, Illinois resident Rickie Long died at 9:15 a.m. Monday February 5, 2018 at his residence. Rickie was an over the road truck driver. He served his country during the VietNam War in the U.S. Air Force.

Rickie was born January 17, 1951 in Hammond, Indiana to Norval E. Long and Ermalee Wilson Long.

Survivors include a son Rick Long of Poseyville, Indiana; 3 daughters Tracey Schuessler of Casper, Wyoming, Erica Long of Casper, Wyoming, and Amy Lutz of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; 2 brothers Steve Long of Albion, Illinois and Monty Long of Albion, Illinois; a sister Cindy Michl of Olney, Illinois; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Rickie was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life service for Rickie Long will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 17, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Albion Illinois with Brother Kirk Rowe officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
