Robert "Bob" Huffman

82 year old Fairfield resident, Robert “Bob” Huffman passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

Bob was born on August 25, 1942 to Eldon and Mary (Witherspoon) Huffman.  Bob married Lois L. Veach on June 20, 1964 in Poughkeepsie, NY.  They celebrated 43 years of marriage before her passing on Feb. 28, 2008.

Bob served in the US Airforce from 1961 to 1965. He worked for the Chrysler Corp. in Fenton, Missouri for over 30 years.  After moving back to Fairfield, he owned and operated B & L Towing before his retirement.  He was a member of Fairfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Bob is survived by 2 children; Bobby E. Huffman of Fairfield and Deborah (Richard) Holden of Douglas, WY. 2 brothers; Ronald (Jane) Huffman of Fairfield and Daniel Huffman of Stanley, NC. 2 sisters; Nancy (Gary) Hallam of Fairfield and Cara (Kevin) Hrebik of Houston, TX.    

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.  

Funeral services for Robert “Bob” Huffman will be held 1:00 p.m.  Tuesday,  December 3, 2024 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. to service time at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or the donor’s choice.
