Robert H. Watson

94 year old Fairfield, Illinois resident Robert H. Watson passed away at his residence Friday evening, October 12, 2018. Bob retired from Airtex after 40 years of service.

Bob was born May 2, 1924 in Wayne County, Illinois. He was the son of Claude and Alma (McCollum) Watson. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Bob married the former Bernadine Mossburger on October 17, 1953 in Olney, Illinois.

Bob is survived by his wife Bernadine of Fairfield, 1 son, Victor Watson and his wife Andrea of Huntsville, Illinois. 1 daughter, Glenna D. Crane of Fairfield, Illinois. A sister,Mary Davis of Rock Island, Illinois. 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren & 12 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert H. Watson will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial at the Maple Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne Memorial Post #4535 VFW.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 12:00 (noon) until the time of service.
