63-year-old Rodney Cross of Fairfield, Illinois died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Way-Fair Restorium in Fairfield, Illinois. Rodney was born September 22, 1949 in Wayne County, Illinois to John Marion Cross and Elsie May Keen Cross. Survivors include 1 brother Phillip Cross and his wife Jane of Olney, Illinois; and 1 sister Harriett Nale and her husband Ken of Fairfield, Illinois. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois. Following the visitation, the body will be cremated with burial at a later date.
