Ron Wiles

82 year old Fairfield resident, formerly of Albion, Ron Wiles passed away Sunday evening, March 1, 2020 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Ron was born December 10, 1937 in Albion.  He was the son of Harry and Hazel (Lowe) Wiles.  He married Ruby Brock on December 12, 1959 in Albion, and she preceded him in death in August 2010. Ron was a veteran of the United States Army. He had worked for Stewart’s and IGA in Albion as a meat cutter for 50 years. Ron was a member of the Samaria Missionary Baptist Church and the American Legion.

Ron is survived by one son, Victor Wiles of Wadesville, Indiana and one sister, Shirley (Charles) Dalton of Fairfield; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his wife Ruby, parents, and son Kent Wiles.

Graveside services for Ron Wiles will be Thursday, March 5th, 2020 at 11:00am at Samaria Cemetery northwest of Albion with military rites provided by American Legion Post 590 and VFW Post 8222. There will be no visitation and friends and family are to go directly to the cemetery. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.nalesfuneralhome.com.
