85-year-old Albion, Illinois resident Sheila M. Rigg died 4:50 p.m. Monday August 20, 2012 at Deaconess Hospice in Evansville, Indiana. She was a homemaker and member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Albion. Sheila was born January 16, 1927 in London, England to Henry Frank Pearce and May Smith Pearce. She met Alan Rigg of Bone Gap, Illinois in London during World War II. They were married and she came to the United States after the war. Survivors include four sons Dave, Bob, and Troy of Albion and Ryan of Newburgh, Indiana; 3 grandchildren Latricia Derry of St. Charles, Missouri, Jeremy Rigg of Albion, and Tyler Rigg of Mattoon, Illinois, as well as 6 great grandchildren. Her husband, parents, a brother, and a sister preceded Sheila in death. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 at Nales Funeral Home in Albion with Brother Dave Rigg officiating. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Nales Funeral Home in Albion. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Albion. Memorial may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church and envelopes will be available at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield.
