Obituary
Shirley A. Bell, 83, of Fairfield passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Cisne Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Cisne, IL.
Shirley was born January 26, 1940 in Wayne County, IL to Ira “Boss” and Rena (Cravens) Book. Shirley had worked at several businesses as a retail clerk including Food Park, Fairfield Memorial Hospital Cafeteria and the Barnhill Campgrounds. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW.
Shirley is survived by 3 Daughters; Kimberly (Andy) Rodgers of Fairfield, IL, Cathy (Kent) Clevenger of Barnhill, IL and Pamela Simpson of Fairfield, IL and a sister-in-law, Helen Book of Batavia, IL. 7 Grandchildren; Monte P. Richey, Dustin H. Ritchey, Matthew, Joseph, Eric Rodgers, Karen Blanton, Brandon Clevenger. 6 Great-Grandchildren; Ward Ritchey, Karlee Blanton, Liana Blanton, Renli Rodgers, Rori Jo Rodgers, Everly Rodgers
Preceding her in death were her parents, 4 Brothers, and 2 Sisters.
Graveside services for Shirley A. Bell will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Maple Hill Cemetery. Family and Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Nale’s Funeral Home in the name of Shirley to be given to the Employees of Cisne Health Care Center for their wonderful care of her.
