68 year old Albion resident, Steven Ray Kendrick, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN

Steven was born on December 9, 1953 in Fairfield, Illinois to Nelson and Evalyn (Keener) Kendrick. He married Mary K. Broster on August 2, 1974 in Grayville, IL. Steven was a farmer and longtime mechanic having his own shop in Grayville. Steven was a founding member of the Friends of Grayville.

Survivors include his wife, Mary K. of Albion, 1 son, David Kendrick of Albion. 1 daughter, Brook (Brent) Leavens of Grayville, Illinois, 3 grandchildren, Grant (Karissa), Kenley and Zach Leavens, 1 brother Danny (Kathy) Kendrick, 1 great grandchild, Wrenlee Leavens. 1 niece and 1 nephew.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, John.

A celebration of life service for Steven Ray Kendrick will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given in his memory to “Tina’s Wish” at FNB in Grayville, IL. ATTN: Katie Hooper.
