74-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident Sue Vaught Tullis died at 8:53 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. She was retired from North American Lighting after 14 year4s as a base coat operator. Sue was a member of the Ashland Christian Church.

Sue was born July 24, 1943 in Granite City, Illinois to Ralph McBrian and Elsie Blanche Johnson McBrian. She was united in marriage at Granite City, Illinois in 1972 to Richard Vaught who died January 26, 1993. She then married Jack Tullis December 23, 1995 in Fairfield, Illinois.

Survivors include her husband Jack Tullis of Fairfield, Illinois; 2 sons Rob S. Vaught and Susan Bullard of Fairfield, Illinois and Rodney A. Vaught of Clearwater, Florida; 4 daughters Pam L. Tullis of Fairfield, Illinois, Jacque K. Shelton and her husband Fred of Fairfield, Illinois, Kimberly D. Vaught of Columbus, Georgia, and Ginnette Dawson and her husband Phil of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 1 sister Phyllis Banton of Indianapolis, Indiana; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Richard, and a son.

Funeral services for Sue Vaught Tullis will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 25, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois. Burial will be in the Burnt Prairie Cemetery.

Visitation will be conducted Saturday November 25, 2017 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.
