Thelma Mason

Thelma Pearl Mason, age 86, of Mertztown , PA and formerly of Albion, Illinois passed away in Mertztown on November 15, 2021. Thelma was born in Princeton, IN.  She was the daughter of Paul & Myrtle (Dearing) Gatewood.

Thelma married Gene Mason, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include children, Paula (Scott) Ray of Mertztown, Pa, Tim (Donna) Mason of Dunnellon, FL.  Grandchildren include, Amanda Tim) O’Brien, Nicole (Pablo) Padilla and Auston Mason.  Great Grandchildren, Finnegan, Cormac, and Aubrie.  One sister, Lauretta Bryant.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Thelma Mason at 12 (noon), Sat. June 18th, at the First Baptist Church in Albion.  The family asks that you stop by and share a memory, a laugh and hug as we celebrate her life.  Memorials in her memory may be made to Graceland Cemetery or the Alzheimer’s Association.
