Obituary
50 year old Fairfield resident, Tony D. Xanders, passed away in Coles County on Monday, February 13, 2023 as a result of an automobile accident.
Tony was born October 23, 1972 to Kenneth and Nancy (Bell) Xanders in Fairfield, Illinois. He worked in construction with Lester’s Post Frame Building in Charleston, IL. Tony had previously worked as a car salesman.
He is survived by his father, Kenneth Xanders of Fairfield, 4 sisters; Holly (Lawrence) Speir of Albion, IL, Terri (George) Venturella of Frankfort, IL, Tina Dulaney of Mt. Vernon, IL, and Lisa Xanders of Daytona Beach, FL, 1 Brother, Randy Ewing of Fairfield, special nephews; Sam Speir, Keagan and Kaysen Foley, niece Kasha Foley and several other nieces and nephews
Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Xanders and 2 brothers, Jeff Ewing and Danny Xanders.
Memorial services for Tony Xanders will be held at Nale’s Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Following his service the body will be cremated.
Memorials may be made in his memory to the First Baptist Church in Fairfield.
