Vertis W. Neal

92-year-old Albion resident, Vertis W. Neal died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 at Rest Haven Manor in Albion. He had been a farmer and an agent for Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. Survivors include his wife, Vera Neal; a daughter, Pam Wiseman of Albion, two sons, Larry Neal of Florence, KY and Jerry Neal of San Ramone, CA; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services for Vertis W. Neal will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Little Prairie Christian Church with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, Sept. 3 at church. Memorials may be made to the Little Prairie Christian Church and will be accepted at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
