93-year-old Fairfield resident, Walter Ralph Juenger died at 7:55 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. A veteran of World War II, he had been an insurance salesman for Century Insurance before retiring. Survivors include a son, Jim Juenger of Phoenix, AZ and two sisters, Mary and Dorothy Short of Fairfield. A memorial service for Walter Ralph Juenger will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Liberty Baptist Church in Burnt Prairie with burial at a later date. Nale's Funeral Home of Fairfield is in charge of all the arrangements.
