96 year old Fairfield, Illinois resident Wildon Eugene Corder died at 10:50 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Cisne Rehab Center in Cisne, Illinois. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, worked as a truck driver including Glennon Transfer, Inc. Wildon served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army.
Wildon was born May 26, 1920 in Fairfield, Illinois to William Alfred Corder and Maria Caroline Eaton Corder. He was united in marriage February 22, 1947 at Morganfield, Kentucky to Erma D. Walker who died September 15, 2013.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Wildon was preceded in death by his parents, wife Erma, 4 sisters, and twin infant brothers.
Funeral services for Wildon Eugene Corder will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois with Brother Carroll Kakac officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery of Fairfield, Illinois with full military rites conducted by the Anthony Wayne American Legion Post 176 and Wayne Memorial VFW Post 3545.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.
