90 year old Albion, Illinois resident William "Bill" Mann died Friday, April 21, 2017 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, Illinois. He was a retired employee of Champion Laboratories and a member of the First Christian Church in Albion, and a member for 70 years of the American Legion and VFW Posts in Albion. Bill served his country in World War II.
Bill was born March 12, 1927 in Albion, Illinois to Curtis Mann and Bernadine Elliott Mann. He was united in marriage in Albion, Illinois February 11, 1947 to Elsie Humes who died May 5, 2013.
Survivors include a son Jerry Mann and his wife Deborah of Whitehouse, Tennessee; a granddaughter Stephanie Musgrave and her husband Larry of Hendersonville, Tennessee; 3 great grandchildren Zach Musgrave and his wife Katy, Nate Musgrave, and Briana Musgrave all of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, wife Elsie, 2 sisters Verna and Ruth, and a brother Bob.
Funeral services for William "Bill" Mann will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois with Brother David Shain officiating. Burial with full military rites conducted by the Albion Legion and VFW Posts will be at Graceland Cemetery of Albion, Illinois.
Visitation will be 12:00 Noon. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
