Wilma Mossburger

92-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident Wilma Mossburger died at 10:08 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Cisne Rehab and Health Care in Cisne, Illinois. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and White Shrine, Rebecca's and Royal Neighbors.

Wilma was born November 5, 1924 in Wayne County, Illinois to Raymond G. Rose and Anna Eliza Turner Rose. She was united in marriage December 26, 1943 in St. Charles, Missouri to Charles "Chick" Mossburger who died July 4, 2007.

Survivors include 3 sons Olin Mossburger and his wife Dorothy of Avon, New York, New York, Terry Mossburger and his wife Joy of Webster, Texas, and Marvin Mossburger of MaComb, Michigan; a daughter Charlene Carter of Fairfield, Illinois; a brother Lloyd Rose of Fairfield, Illinois; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.

Funeral services for Wilma Mossburger will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 with Brother Bennie Tomberlin and Pastor Mike Hallas officiating at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, Illinois.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday September 19,2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the Fairfield First Baptist Church and will be accepted at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield.
